Married to Debbie. We have three adult daughters, two sons-in-laws, one granddaughter and a Border-Aussie dog.
Time of membership at Grace:
We have been members at Grace since December of 2007.
Passions, Interests, Hobbies:
Lately, my interests and hobbies have been, family, mentoring, puppy rearing/training and golf. News and current events are a fascination for me as well. My pastoral work keeps me engaged, and I am always trying to better understand what makes for a biblical, Christ-honoring healthy, gospel-centered church.
What do you appreciate about Grace Community Church?
Grace, since it’s beginning, has proclaimed the gospel, preached the word, and had a healthy leadership structure of biblical elders. The trust between the leadership and membership has stayed strong, which makes for a healthy church. No church is without its problems, but so many of the fundamentals at Grace are solid.
The people are great. Our worship is rich and Christ honoring. We are not heavily program-dependent, but more focused on doing biblical things well.
Involvement at Grace:
As lead pastor I help lead with the elders in overseeing the entire church ministry. I preach from the pulpit, teach in one of our ABFs, and I help plan and direct the overall ministry at Grace. The staff falls under my area of supervision as well.
