Family worship doesn’t have to be dry. It doesn’t have to be 45 minutes long or involve a 3-point outline. It can be as simple as reading a chapter from a book, asking a question or two about the material, and praying together. Sing a song if you want. Involve the children in the reading. The exact format isn’t that important and will vary depending on the ages of your children. Below are some books that you might find helpful.

Family Worship by Donald S. Whitney is an approachable book about the importance of family worship and how to get started.
The "Teach Your Children the Scriptures" series by Joel R. Beeke and Nick Thompson are good books for reading around the dinner table. Ages 5 and up will learn about how God loves his people, and how the Old Testament points to Jesus. Highly recommended.
Seeds Kids Worship is a great resource for singing and memorizing God's word.
The Gospel Way Catechism for Kids contrasts the world's way of living with God's way of living. It is written to help kids form a Christ centered life. The question/answer format and relevant bible verses are helpful for memorization.
