K.I.S.S.

June 14, 2015 Speaker: Jay Beuoy

Pastor Jay continues his sermon series, Be Encouraged, Brothers with "K.I.S.S." or: Read, Pray, Love from 1 Thessalonians 5:25-28. [powerpress] 1 Thessalonians 5:25-28 (ESV)

Brothers, pray for us. Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss. I put you under oath before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

At the end of the day, do the simple things you know to do and trust the grace of Christ. (Keep it simple, saint.)

Parent Connection Questions:

  • If you had to explain what prayer is, how would you say it?
  • Paul tells us to pray for each other.  Why is this important?  Doesn’t everyone have their own problems?
  • Paul also says we’re to love one another.  What does that look like at your house?
  • Finally, Paul says we’re to read the Bible.  How can you set up a daily schedule to read this summer?
